New Branch launched in Wilton

Following the Conservative Party success across the country and locally here in Salisbury, the local Conservatives have launched a Branch in Wilton and the lower Wylye valley.

At a well-attended meeting in Wilton locals listen and spoke to their new MP, John Glen and Wiltshire Councillor, Richard Beattie.

New Chairman, Mark Blake, said "I am delighted that we have had such a high turnout tonight. We have a great new MP; a hard-working Councillor and now an active local Branch of Conservatives. There is a great deal to do and it will be fun doing it".

A full Branch committee has now been established, the first in nearly 18 years.
